This a great toy to display and look at. It is very poseable, but heres the kicker. Posing it is so freaking stressful. You hear the joints creak as you twist them and you stare intently at the gaps trying to work out the right way to twist it without snapping it. Some of the joints enter into sockets at strange angles and by the time you have finished careful manipulating it into the pose you want you need a stiff drink and a lie down.

But then you look at your figure, with the alternate head in place, fist raised defiantly to the sky and legs akimbo, looking just like like it does in the anime and you think to yourself "That looks freaking sweet"

hey you realise that one of the drill bits has become ever so slightly bent during your manipulations and you are going to have to pick it up to hae another go at it.

And then you pass out from exhaustion

This toy is really cute and very detailed; however, as in my other reviews of Takara Tomy toys, even with its base, it won't stand upright, but leans forward in an awkward position.

Since I'm an adult collector, I can overcome this defect with quakewax, and that's why I gave this toy 5 stars: Because it's just so darned cute. Takara Tomy do a good job of getting the shape and detail right, just not the balance of the toy itself.

I love ghost Pokémon, and Dusknoir is one of my favourites, but I really wish Takara Tomy would take a little more care in the production of these toys. There still are some of us out there that value our collections and want them to be perfect.

"Byakuya and Renji look terrific!" 2009-07-20

I absolutely loved the Byakuya figure the most of these 2. The painting job and costume reproduction looked almost perfect. The Renji figure has a nice pleasant expression on his face which is pleasing compared to how they could have given him a scowl or 'battle face'. It was difficult to figure out how to put the swords in their hands before I realized you have to detach the handles from the blades. Both of them look extremly close to the anime and manga characters.

Number 7 in the line of Figma figures and this guy has some early stage problems. There are no props with him except a pair of shoes, face,the basic stand with hands, plastic bag, and a cardboard cutout of a chalkboard classroom.

He's good to pose except that his vest limits movement(such as sitting down). Upon moving his leg it can easily pop out of it's socket (which can be re-inserted). In order to push his leg back in properly his jacket may need to open. Jacket lacks any buttons and glued on by a small bump. His vest is made out of rubber instead of plastic and may contribute to smells.

Nice for a fan of this figure. Others may consider other figma figures.

Very tall character but as basic as Poco from Revoltech.

Very nice figure with amazing articulation compared to the snap fit Bandai scale models. These Revoltech figures lack the detail you find with other model kits but for the price and considering it is not a model kit the detail is very good. You can get great poses with this figure but its a bit of work. Great figure for the geek in us all. I give a high rating for the education value due to its inspirational value. Its not going to teach your kid how to read but it will get them thinking about a future with giant robots.

This is my first Revoltech figure, and I'm glad I chose this. What attracted me to this is how much it reminded me of Gundam mechas, and it looks like something that can be built today. The leg opening for the "dive brakes" is a great plus. This is a Hell"diver", so it does need some brakes! Articulation is excellent just like any Revoltech figure. The Revoltech joints are located on the neck (double revoltech joint), shoulders, elbows, knees, ankles, torso, and dive breaks (double joint as well). The wrist, hip, and femur joint are rotational joints. It comes with a machine gun, knife, sheathed knife, 4 extra hands, one alternate head, and a stand.

"Nice detail, nice work, a few small issues" 2008-08-16

I purchased both this, and the special color edition. Ropponmatsu barely appears in the Excel Saga anime, but she's such a charmingly annoying character, and so cute, I had to have them.

The figure is very highly detailed, from the puckered around the knee stockings, to the eyes, (though the color of the eyes isn't quite right). The hair color on this particular version is supposed to be pink, and it is...at the very tips, but it's mostly white, so the color isn't quite accurate.

She doesn't quite 'hold' to her base well, so some care must be taking when displaying or she'll fall off. Same goes for the removable booster pack. If you have a cat as I do, be prepared to see it fall once in a while. Fortunately, the figure is well constructed and durable, with one small caveat.

The little cable that comes off the back of her 'cat ear' is poorly mounted. Both of mine came off their repective figures on the very first day I got them. I'd recommend having a tube of crazy glue handy to put them back on, as unless you put them in a closed display box, there's a big chance you'll also have yours break off. If I didn't know better, they weren't attached with anything more than 1mm of weak plastic, they cannot take any impact at all.

That said, since crazy glue fixed them stronger than the original, I'm not going to deduct much for this one weakness.

Overall, especially considering the price, this figure is a gem for anyone who thought Ropponmatsu Version 2 was a sweet character. And not a bad deal for anyone who just likes cute characters, this one's cute, and there's no denying that!

My 8 year old son adores this - he likes that it goes all the way up his arm so it's easier to hold on to in "battle" and also he can pretend it's an extension of his arm. The foam darts are fairly soft (they haven't broken anything yet!) and are easy to fire. The sword is fairly rigid but not too bad. Overall, for a toy weapon, this is a pretty good deal because it's a sword AND a dart gun. Also, no electronics to break or make annoying noises - he has to make his own! I would recommend it for fantasy battle play.

Sega has done a very nice job with this playset.

This piece is obviously meant to be a collector/display piece more than a "toy". There are lots of small pieces, so this is not for small children. The set is packaged in 2 seperate boxes, one for each figure. The overall detail of this set is excellent.

Included are 2 desks, 2 different styles of chairs, an additional folding chair, a bookbag, and a notepad. There is a computer complete with tower, monitor, keyboard, mouse and mousepad. It even comes with "wires", and a diagram of how to connect the individual components is printed on the back of each box. The only negative thing I noted was that the seated girl did not fit the desk and chair as pictured when first removed from the package. However,a short soak in hot water softened her up to where she was easily reshaped to fit properly.

As a collector, I am really enjoying this item.

this statue is large, heavy, and durable, it is very well detailed I have seen allot worse detailing on pieces that cost twice this amount! its a must have for any collection you can position her head to look any way you want on a type of hex shaped neck and removable head so you can make her stare off into space cluelessly or look at another of your figures instead of the very detailed butterfly on her finger. Her top is very easily removable and you will not be disappointed if you do so as she is very detailed underneath! its a must have for any collection.

One word of warning though, THE BASE IS NOT ATTACHED TO HER IN ANY WAY she simple sets on top of it so you must be careful if you plan to put her on it. its plastic on plastic so its a but slippery. but thats my only complaint this is a must have for any red blooded man or girl who knows what is up!

I recently ordered and received this product and I would have to agree with the previous review. This figure is absolutely not the same quality as the picture. The glasses cannot be placed on the face and you can see the seams of the material it was made of. The color is not as brilliant as the photo. The picture shown here is a dramatization (which is also shown on the product box). Though I still like it and plan to keep it it would be really nice if they had an actual picture of the product rather than the items exagerated box picture. I doubt I'll buy a pvc figure again unless it's in person. Seller was awesome though :D Very fast delivery!

At first, Ryo-ko appears to be a compassionate and hard-working high school girl. I purchased this for my ex for his birthday. He loved voltron as a kid so I thought he would like to add this to his collection of Gundams. It seemed fun putting it together and it looks nice but like everyone else said, it's not at all durable. You have to be very careful with it, I could never imagine this being a kids toy or being taken apart several times. For the price, I expected better construction. If you plan to just put it together and display it though you should be ok, unless you have cats like me that like to knock everything down.

My son is four and a half and was introduced to the Voltron series via DVD. It was his very first toy craze and all we heard about for months was how he wanted Voltron toys. The description says the plastic is durable but it is not. We kept the shield, sword and wings in the box since they were so sharp. We showed our son how to form Voltron and break it down into the lions and he was able to do it after two demonstrations; much faster than the adults in our household. We showed him where the weak points were, "oh, Lance's legs, got it" he said. Two hours of playing with Voltron on Christmas morning were all he got. The Voltron fell from a height of 19 inches (a cat knocked it off a short chair while I was watching) and both the legs broke off. This is completely ridiculous for the amount of money spent. Let's hope Super Glue lives up to it's marketing better than this toy.

I found this to be quite an amazing recreation. I have the old Lion Voltron made by Matchbox and it is super boxy and less agile than the new masterpiece Lion Voltron made by Toynami. The only downside is the plastic legs and connectors...over time if used as a toy and not just a collectible the product might falter. All in all a great show piece!

I got this Volton thinking it would be just like the orginal I had as a kid but its a much cheaper version. The blue lion kept falling off and would not stay connected, the black lions legs wont even go in to the conpartmenet, and the heads of the lions are very loose and are bound to break off very easily. I dont see for this price tag they could not have made it just like the orginal. I really hope with the voltron movie being made in 08 that match box puts out a good version because this one is not even close worth the money I paid for it. You should really pass on this and buy a real used one on ebay.

This is the real deal, the quality is solid and the composition of the piece is box frame worthy. There is some coloring on the shirt that suggest transparency. Under close inspection I would have preferred it didn't come with this feature, because it looks cheap.

Other than that the entire piece is a great addition to my collection.

What can I say? It's Kanu. She is beautiful to look at. If you know the series then you know she wasn't in it very much but wow, the impact she made!! I love this one and have one of each color this pose comes in.
